The fall in house prices continues in Europe: in the fourth quarter of 2012 in the EU there was a drop of 1,4% on an annual basis, while in the Eurozone the drop was 1,8%. Compared to the third quarter of 2012, the decreases were respectively 0,7% and 0,5%. This was communicated by Eurostat.
Above average the decline in Italy, where there was a decrease of 4,6% on an annual basis and of 1,6% compared to the third quarter of 2012. The heaviest decline, however, is that recorded in Spain, -12,8% compared to the same period of the previous year.
