While in Italy there is still discussion and argument over the reform of Article 18, Europe is keeping its eyes focused. The Italian Parliament in fact, second the spokeswoman for the Employment Commissioner, Laszlo Andor, has “the responsibility for swift approval of effective labor market reform".
“The proposal for a reform of the Italian labor market still needs to be approved by the Italian Parliament – explains Cristina Arigo – there being nothing on the table yet, the Commission will carefully examine the text of the reform that will be adopted by the government”.
