A summit around the anniversary of Russia's start of the war. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in an interview with the Associated Press. “The United Nations could be the best place to hold this summit, because it's not about doing a favor to a certain country. It's about getting everyone involved and there is no better place than the United Nations to do it,” said Kuleba, reiterating that Ukraine will do everything in its power to win the war in 2023, but the role of diplomacy is fundamental.

"Every war ends diplomatically", he said. “Every war ends as a result of actions taken on the battlefield and at the negotiating table,” she added.

"The United Nations could be the best place to hold this summit, because it's not about doing a favor to a certain country" but "it's about involving everyone", said Kuleba who on the possible role of Guterres said: "He proved to be an efficient broker and negotiator and, above all, a man of principle and integrity. So we would be delighted with an active participation of him ”.

When asked if they will invite Russia to the summit, Kuleba replied that first Moscow will have to agree to be prosecuted for war crimes by an international tribunal: "Only in this way can they be invited".
