Ubi: ok to merge with the 3 Good Banks

The supervisory board of Ubi has given the green light to the merger by incorporation of the three Good Banks (Nuova Banca Marche, Nuova Carichieti and Nuova Banca Etruria) into the Parent Company, already approved last May.

The related deed was filed with the Bergamo company register. The merger of the three institutions into Ubi will be completed by the end of the first half of 2018. The operation is part of the process of simplifying the organizational structure of the Lombard bank.

In particular, the press release reads, the merger by incorporation into Ubi regards "the subsidiaries, directly or indirectly, Banca Adriatica (formerly Nuova Banca delle Marche), Banca Tirrenica (formerly Nuova Banca dell'Etruria e del Lazio), Banca Teatina (formerly Nuova Cassa di Risparmio di Chieti), Carilo-Cassa di Risparmio di Loreto and Banca Federico del Vecchio”.
