Ubi launches the Arte Ubi Banca website

Ubi Banca launches the new website Ubi Banca art with the aim of enhancing the institute's artistic heritage and collection, while simultaneously promoting the cultural initiatives supported by it.

“Proximity to cultural projects and the protection of artistic heritage are an integral part of UBI Banca's action – reads the company note – in favor of the country and in particular of the territories where the bank has a greater presence. To this end, the Group continuously supports numerous initiatives, above all through donations and sponsorships".

Ubi boasts a collection made up of over 6 works created between the XNUMXth and XNUMXst centuries, coming from the collections of the institutes incorporated into the Group over the years, in many cases not usable, as well as the buildings in which they are kept.

"The objective of the new site is, on the one hand, to "virtually open" the doors of the Bank's offices to make this significant artistic heritage known and available to all", continues the note.

The site has been available since 6 October and is divided into two sections: the first dedicated to news, with updates on exhibitions, festivals, awards, theatrical and musical events and other events of particular artistic interest both nationally and locally. The second instead concerns the Ubi art collection, with detailed historical, photographic and technical files of 300 of the most important works in the collection, kept in the various offices of the Bank present throughout the national territory, in most cases today otherwise not visible.

“The Bank's collection includes fourteenth and fifteenth-century frescoes and sculptures from the high period, paintings from the Brescian and Bergamo Renaissance (Moretto, Savoldo, Romanino, Previtali), from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries in Lombardy, Rome and Naples (Legnanino, Vanvitelli, Caracciolo, Preti , Solimena, Giordano), as well as papers and canvases from the various schools and movements of the XNUMXth century (Inganni, Fattori, Lega). The largest section of the collection includes works from the XNUMXth-XNUMXst century documenting the evolution of Italian and international art, from Umberto Boccioni to Alighiero Boetti, from Anish Kapoor to Yan Pei Ming, from Rudolf Stingel to Wolfgang Tillmans and Olafur Eliasson” emphasizes the bank,

In parallel with the site, the Instagram channel @arteubibanca was also launched, conceived and organized to make the art world of UBI Banca particularly "close", almost "alive".
