Ubi Banca, 20 million social bond

0,50% of the nominal value of the bonds will go to support Fish, an organization that brings together various associations active in promoting the rights of people with disabilities.

Ubi Banca, 20 million social bond

Ubi Banca announces the issue of a 20 million euro social bond, the proceeds of which will be donated in part to the Italian Federation for Overcoming Handicap Onlus, which will use the contribution to implement a project in favor of social inclusion of people with disabilities.

The bonds have a minimum subscription denomination of one thousand euros, a three-year term, a six-monthly coupon and a gross annual rate of 1%. They can be subscribed from 24 November 2014 to 31 December 2014, subject to early closure or extension of the offer period.

The bonds are not intended for listing on any regulated market or multilateral trading system: they will be traded by the placers in direct exchange as part of the proprietary trading service. The rate of return on the Social Bond is in line with the yield on similar bonds issued by UBI Banca and on government bonds with the same duration.

The total contribution donated to the Italian Federation for overcoming handicaps can reach up to 100 thousand euros in the event of subscription of the entire nominal amount of the bonds involved in the offer.

It is also possible to support the Italian Federation for Overcoming Disabilities directly, with a bank transfer to a current account (IBAN IT81C0504801672000000038939) at UBI Banca Popolare Commercio & Industria, or via Qui UBI Internet Banking ("Solidarity Transfers" function) with zeroing of transaction commissions or at branches of the banks of the UBI Banca Group with exemption of commissions for customers and non-customers.
