Ubi Banca will issue a solidarity bond (Social Bond) "UBI Community for Dynamo Camp Onlus Association", for a total amount of 20 million euro. The announcement was made by the institute itself: the proceeds from the placement will be donated in part as a donation to the association to support part of the "Outreach" project, which takes Dynamo Camp's Recreational Therapy programs out of the Camp, for the benefit of minors with serious or chronic diseases.
The amount paid by UBI Banca, in the event of placement of the entire amount of the Social Bond, can go up to €100.000. 0,50% of the nominal value of the bonds, which have a minimum subscription amount of 1.000 euro, duration of 3 years, semi-annual coupon, gross annual rate of 1%, will be donated to Dynamo Camp.
For the first time, the banking group is launching a bond with an explicit index of social return on invested capital (SROI): for every euro received, an estimated fallout of around 2 euro of social benefits is estimated.
