Twitter, new storm. The former security chief accuses: "Serious problems". And Musk is suing Dorsey

While the battle with is still going on Elon Musk, a very heavy accusation rains down on Twitter. The social network would have serious security problems which could jeopardize the personal information of its users, but also of the shareholders. Not only that, the flaw would be so dangerous as to pose a risk to national security and democracy. To support it is the former head of social security, Peiter Zatko, in an interview with CNN and the Washington Post.

According to Zatko, who was fired for poor performance by Twitter, the company's executives allegedly lied to the board and regulators about alleged security flaws that could favor espionage, foreign manipulation, hacking and disinformation campaigns. Not only that, the social network would not securely delete user data once they have canceled their accounts. Finally, Zatko believes that Twitter's top management lacks the resources or real interest in understanding the true number of bot on piplatform.

Revelations that have attracted the attention of the market, with the Twitter headline which yields more than 3% on the Nasdaq, but also by Elon Musk, which recently canceled its 44 billion offer for the purchase of the social network precisely because of the bots.

Tesla's number one, among other things, just today notified the former CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, an injunction to provide a whole series of documents and communications relating to the acquisition deal made in April, as well as any information on fake accounts or the calculation of active users. All available documents on these topics are requested, as of January 2019. Dorsey stepped down as Twitter's chief executive officer in November.
