The more suggestive and fascinating the place is, the more tourists go there. And, according to a typical and never denied unwritten law of tourism, the higher the prices. Especially if this location is Venice, which according to data from the Business Price Radar of Hrs.com, the hotel portal for business travel, is in the first half of 2012 the city in Italy where it costs the most to stay. Yes, because to visit Piazza San Marco and all the inimitable wonders of the Venetian capital, if you want to stop for a few days, you need almost 150 euros per night on average.

The lagoon city, which is confirmed as the favorite of tourists in the Bel Paese, has this ousted from the little coveted throne Milan, which loses the leadership of the most expensive city in Italy, recording an increase "only" of 3,08%, for an average cost per night of 110,30 euros, while Venice has pumped up its prices almost double-digit (+9,2%) and is now sleeping there it costs 147,30 euros per night on average.

Strong price increases have also been recorded in other Italian tourist cities, which are also particularly sought after by tourists from all over the world, whether for culture or for the summer or winter seasons. This is especially the case for Florence (+4,67%) and Bolzano (+4,73%), where for one night you spend respectively 109,64 and 112,31 euros.

Surprisingly, instead, it was the Capital that lowered prices, responding to the crisis: Rome has in fact reduced its hotel costs by an average of 5% and now a night in the shadow of the Colosseum costs less than 110 euros per person. Fewer than all other competitors, except one: Napoli in fact, despite a surge in tariffs of 4,65%, it is confirmed as the most convenient city, with an average cost per night of 75,74 euros.
