Tourism, Bank of Italy: no record in August but balance payments in May in surplus of 2,3 billion

Grow the Italian tourism in May. While the over 10 Italians who slept abroad in the first five months of 2023 spent more than 9 nights head out (92 overnight stays in total).

Tourism: no record of Italians on holiday in August

For Confcommercio about 14 million Italians are on vacation for the week of August, staying in Italy for the most part and spending about 7 billion euros.
