Accessible tourism, the 10 projects awarded by Invitalia

At the Accelerathon in Rome, startuppers and aspiring entrepreneurs challenged each other with innovative projects on the theme of "accessible" tourism: a 10.000 euro prize for each winner.

Accessible tourism, the 10 projects awarded by Invitalia

It closed in Rome the first appointment of 2019 of FactorYmpresa Turismo, the Invitalia Program which offers tutoring services and economic contributions to businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs in the tourism sector, with the aim of increasing the quality of the offer and making Italy more competitive on international markets.

Physical, information, generational and cultural accessibility are the topics on which the 20 startuppers selected with a national call worked for two days together with Invitalia's tutors and mentors. Objective: to improve the team's ability to present the business idea to potential investors/partners/customers and "accelerate" project development. In particular, in a full immersion of 36 teams, they verified the strengths and weaknesses of the business model, defined how to strengthen the project by identifying the need for specialist services and prepared a 3-minute pitch which they presented to the jury.

The 10 winning projects were awarded a check for 10.000 euros each, in addition to the accompanying services provided by Invitalia.
