The initiative, organized by the DNArt Foundation together with the Municipality of Turin - Department of the Environment, it represents the first major step in a recovery and enhancement project that intends to transform the park into a clean, accessible and usable area for the population, especially the youth.
Twelve giants of prehistory equipped with the latest innovations in the technological field and life-size, for the first time in Italy, will be the protagonists of the journey in a distant time tens of millions of years.
From Parco Michelotti to "Jurassic Park", therefore, thanks to specimens of T-Rex, Triceratops, Spinosaurus, to name but a few. Dinosaurs made in the colors they are believed to have had and in all their grandeur.
The itinerary opens with the specimen that best embodies the emotions that these large reptiles arouse: the Tyrannosaurus, which immediately catapults the visitor to Earth as it was 70 million years ago. The evolution of the world will be explained by illustrating the different ages of our planet, with particular attention to the three periods that marked the life of the dinosaurs: from the Triassic, 220 million years ago, passing through the Jurassic up to the Cretaceous, which ended 65,5, XNUMX million years ago, time of their extinction.
Educational workshops and excavation areas for children will make the experience unique and unforgettable. During August and September, the park will delight with many recreational activities (archery, trekking with donkeys, the farm in the city, and many activities for young and old that will make the visit a real adventure in the city centre.
