I Young Entrepreneurs of the Industrial Union of Turin, on the occasion of the Annual Assembly, have renewed top management of the Governing Council and defined the new one presidenza. She was elected to lead the Group Barbara Graffino, thirty-eight year old co-founder and CEO of Talent Garden Fondazione Agnelli, as well as vice president of Blooming Group, an industrial group in the food & beverage sector. Graffino replaces Alberto Lazzaro who had been in office since 2019.
The appointment took place at the end of the public debate of the Assembly on the occasion of a discussion entitled "Transformations" where the issue of the impact of social and economic changes on people's lives and economic activities was addressed.
The programmatic lines of the assignment
In her inaugural speech, Barbara Graffino has outlined the programmatic lines of the office just assumed: “Le transformations are the theme of this Annual Assembly, which has honored me with the appointment to lead young Turin entrepreneurs, and precisely theurgency for change it represents the horizon towards which we must strive. Even more after the complex years that we have just left behind, it is necessary to give space to the builders of the future so that in the midst of change they take the opportunity to create a better tomorrow. The economic and social system is today faced with a paradigm shift that requires new leadership and vision skills such that it is not enough to grow in competence, but a leap in the level of consciousness of individuals is needed. It is necessary to get back into the game from a personal point of view, in a perspective of collaborative development and by tackling unavoidable challenges together such as ecological transition, digitalisation, demographic growth and inclusion. A path that needs to be traveled in a synergistic way between the various realities operating in the area, towards which I will work to develop common actions aimed at the youth world. Goal of the Group Young Entrepreneurs must be the stimolo to the attractiveness of companies, in order to encourage students trained by our universities to stay in the city. At the same time, I believe that the Industrial Union must increasingly represent the home of new entrepreneurship, favoring projects and initiatives capable of giving concrete answers to startuppers and systematizing existing realities, to avoid wasting energies and resources" said the new - elected Barbara Graffino.
