Trump-Putin agreement for truce in Syria

From tomorrow, Sunday 9 July, a ceasefire will be triggered in southwestern Syria with the hope of extending it to that tormented country shortly. This is the fruit of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the G20 in Hamburg, set ablaze by clashes between protesters and the forces of order with hundreds injured on both sides.

Russian interference in the latest US electoral campaign was also discussed during the summit, which Putin denied. As reported by the Russian minister Lavrov, the American president shared Putin's explanations.
