Trump “committed to providing North Korea with security guarantees” and Kim Jong Un “said its firm and unwavering commitment to a complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula”. Kim Jong Un added that the two countries "leave the past behind" and that "the world will witness a huge change”, which is why the leader expressed “gratitude to President Trump for making this meeting possible”.
