Trump will have to deal with the US taxman

New tile for Donald Trump. And it could have an explosive effect.

The US Supreme Court has given the go-ahead to the New York prosecutor's office to acquire Donald Trump's tax returns. The sitting president has no immunity and is no different than any other American citizen, the US High Court has argued.

The request by the American president's lawyers to guarantee the presidents in office complete immunity from criminal investigations was therefore rejected. The sentence was decided by a large majority (7 votes to 2) and may have political consequences even if it is said that the material will not be made public or acquired before the vote for the presidential elections next November.

The tax return of Donald Trump, a tycoon and real estate developer with a large bank account before becoming president of the United States after Barack Obama, has so far been one of the most closely guarded secrets, despite the opposition having repeatedly sent the president to spontaneously disclose his private position with the taxman.

The president reacted with an avalanche of tweets and claiming that a 2 political persecution is underway against him".
