Green light for the process of "simplification and rationalization" of the companies of the Tronchetti Provera family. The route will involve various vehicles belonging to Pirelli's number one, starting with the merger between Mtp spa and Mtp partecipazioni, and will continue by integrating the latest addition to the Tronchetti house, the 365 Gtc, with one of the historic safes of the Milanese entrepreneur, the Gpi, until last year was the gateway to the listed Camfin and Pirelli.
365 Gtc is the company of Marco Tronchetti Provera and his three children (Ilaria, Giada and Giovanni) created in 2013 to offer business consultancy services, while Gpi is the holding company 100% controlled by Mtp Partecipazioni which will soon merge into Mtp spa .
The simplification of the corporate chain aims at "streamlining the decision-making processes" and will take place in several stages also because it will have to be accompanied in parallel by the restructuring of the loans for some of the group's subsidiaries.
In detail, the transfer of 365 to Gpi led to a capital increase for the latter from 91,1 million to 92,5 million which took place through the assignment of 1,58 million Gpi shares to Tronchetti and sons.
