The new connections are underway Frecciarossa from and for Fiumicino Airport for trips starting from Monday 11 July with the absolute novelty of the direct connection with Napoli and a new direct train from Florence. As announced during the presentation of the Trenitalia Summer Experience, three new Frecciarossa connections join the Frecce to and from Venice, Padua, Bologna, Florence and Rome, the Leonardo Express direct between Fiumicino and Rome Termini and the numerous regional connections of the FL1 Fiumicino Airport line -Rome-Orte.

In detail, passengers can already purchase on all Trenitalia sales channels the new connections. Timetables to follow:
- Frecciarossa 8335 Fiumicino Airport 9.38 - Naples Central 11.33;
- Frecciarossa 8334 Naples Central 5.45 - Fiumicino Airport 7.52;
- Frecciarossa 9591 Florence Santa Maria Novella 07.05 - Fiumicino Airport 09.22.
The activation of the new connections, explains the railway group in a note, is part of the agreement signed by Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane and Aeroporti di Roma to develop sustainable intermodality and the integration between train and plane.
