Trenitalia: here is the winter timetable with 11 new Frecce trains

On Sunday 10 December the new Trenitalia winter timetable comes into force, valid until June 9, 2018. More Arrows in the extreme hours of the morning and evening: in Rome the former Frecciarossa from Milan it arrives at 8:29, in Venice the first Arrow from Rome arrives at 9:08 and latest Arrow from Milan to Bologna and Florence leaves at 20:50.

In all 11 Arrows plus and seven path extensions for as many Arrows already present on time, making a total of 82 new stops.

They arrive at 90 the Arrows daily to and from Venice. Four of the Venice – Milan route are made for the first time with the Frecciarossa 1000.

The offer is enhanced from and to Turin, with a new journey in the early morning from Milan to Turin and one from Turin to Venice, for a total of 60 Arrows (56 Frecciarossa e 4 frecciabianca) at the service of the city of the Mole.

Two new links are inaugurated between Florence and Milan with a stop in Bologna, one in the early morning with departure from the Tuscan capital at 6:00 and arrival in Milan at 7:45, the other in the evening from Milan at 20:50 and arrival at 22:43. In total 111 Arrows arriving and departing from Florence.

With the start of the new timetable, a Bologna Centrale all high-speed trains direct to and from Venice and Padua arrive at the platforms located in the underground station and no longer on the surface. This is an important change that requires a change of habits for many Trenitalia customers, who are therefore invited to pay particular attention to arriving at the station on time.

News also on the front of Frecciargento: two new journeys between Rome and Reggio Calabria via Napoli Afragola there are four connections with travel times of less than 5 hours between the two cities. Between Rome and Bolzano, the number of trips rises to ten with the transformation of two weekend trips into daily trips.

I ARROW Link expand the winter network, adding Val Gardena and Val di Fassa to Cormayeur, Madonna di Campiglio and Cortina. The one serving the provincial capitals also consolidates, with Catanzaro joining Cremona, Siena, Perugia, Potenza and Matera.

I international connections are enriched with a Milan - Frankfurt managed in collaboration with the Swiss SBB and the German DB, carried out, in return, with an ETR 610, used in Italy for services Frecciargento. About 4 tickets have already been booked.
