New connection of Trenitalia (FS Group) to Switzerland, realized in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Railways. From next June 8th, Eurocity trains will be available from Zurich to Pisa, while from June 9th, those from Pisa to Zurich, with daily frequency until September 29th.
The new route expands the connection already active from Genoa, introducing new stops in Viareggio, Massa Centro, La Spezia Centrale, Chiavari and Genova Brignole. The departure takes place every day at 13.20:10 from Pisa, with a journey of about 6.33 hours; while at 9:XNUMX it leaves from Zurich, with a duration of about XNUMX and a half hours.
Tickets, starting from 57,50 euros, can be purchased on the Trenitalia app and website, at station ticket offices and at authorized travel agencies.
The new connection enhances Trenitalia's offering abroad, alongside the Eurocity Italy-Switzerland connections, operated in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Railways, and the Milan – Zurich – Frankfurt, operated in cooperation with the Swiss Federal Railways and Deutsche Bahn.
