Trenitalia summer starts June 10: change the schedule and special promotions are underway for families, young people, the elderly and pet-friendly travel. All in the name of sustainable, convenient, safe and quality tourism with over 110 additional seasonal stops by Frecce, InterCity and Freccialink in the most popular seaside and mountain destinations.

Summer promotions provide special 30% discounts, with the “Together” offer, for groups of up to 5 people; other discounts from 30 to 50% for young people under 30 and seniors over 60 with the "Young" and "Senior" offer; complete gratuity for accompanied children under 15 thanks to “Children for free”; a particular accompaniment service, until now available only for children, extended to everyone, including elderly people who can thus move around on their own; and the possibility of taking your dog on holiday with you in August, traveling at the symbolic price of 5 euros.

Trenitalia has signed numerous partnerships for the benefit of its customers, which they will obtain special discounts and benefits throughout the summer for overnight stays in various hotels and lodges, or by participating in festivals, summer reviews, musical and theatrical performances, or by visiting museums and exhibition centres. Confirming the slogan that accompanies the entire seasonal programming of the FS Italiane Group company: Summer is Trenitalia.

The tourist vocation finds full confirmation with the strengthening of summer connections to the main holiday destinations: from Cilento to Scalea and Maratea, from Riccione to Rimini and Cattolica, from Senigallia to Giulianova and Vasto San Salvo, from Monopoli to Fasano from Ostuni to Polignano Sea. A new Frecciarossa Milan – Ancona connection gets underway at the weekend allows you to connect Milan with the Adriatic coast, with stops in Rimini, Riccione and Pesaro. The integrated Frecce and Bus service of the Freccialink is extended and will reach Sorrento and Gallipoli, Marina di Ugento and Otranto, Cecina and Piombino from where to move to Elba and the other islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Then again, Cortina and Cadore, Madonna di Campiglio, Ortisei, Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, as well as Assisi, Pompeii and the Royal Palace of Caserta.

Integration with the 6500 regional journeys managed by Trenitalia will also make it possible to expand this network by reaching 32 UNESCO sites, 25 of "Most beautiful villages in Italy", 8 National Parks, and over 90 between beaches, wellness centres, mountain and spa destinations.
