Thirty-five million travellers they moved in August using Trenitalia trains. The company communicates this, underlining that the figure represents a 15% increase compared to August 2022, with overall data that has exceeded the pre-Covid era.

Trenitalia: 75 million tourists between July and September on trains

Luigi Corradi, CEO of Trenitalia, head of the Polo Passengers of FS, a few weeks ago during the presentation of the new company FS – Italian Tourist Trains said “In recent months, tourism has been the master. As far as large urban centers are concerned, Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin and Bologna were the destinations with the highest number of travellers, while if you look only at the South, the Apulian cities of Bari and Lecce are at the top of this special ranking.
