The Government's plan includes a focus on Enav and Poste, expected for 2015 – Stm and RaiWay on the table for 2014.

Treasury: privatization plan, 5 billion from Enav and Poste

The privatization plan of the Treasury is proceeding, which aims to raise at least 5 billion from operations on Enav and Poste. Francesco Parlato, the head of privatization at the Ministry of Economy, said: “We are working on privatization for the Post Office in 2015. It is a target together with ENAV. The total revenue expected is around 5 billion”.

But other privatizations will already be completed within this year, at least according to the plans of the Treasury, which aims to sell the share of Stm (13,5% of the company) to the Cassa depositi e prestiti group (Cdp) and to sell a share of RaiWay : “It is plausible that Stm will be sold to the CDP group within this year, assessing the mutual interest. Then, as the minister reiterated, each transaction is subject to market conditions”. For RaiWay, however, the valuation range indicated by Parlato is between 800 million and 1 billion euros.
