The negotiation on the sale of Antonio Merloni could find a solution in September. The controlled administration regime in force since 2008 could therefore come to an end. The commissioners of the company finally saw that perspective emerging which seemed to have vanished, when by now no more "manifestations of serious interest" were arriving either from the consortium of Chinese companies represented by Otto Italia or from the Iranian Mmd. “Concrete negotiations are currently underway – they explain – with an industrial group that envisages a diversified commitment on a broad industrial perimeter and with an employment response which, although still unsatisfactory at present, could achieve interesting results in any case and in line with the current overall economic condition”.
In any case, it will be known next month whether the ongoing "verification of the negotiations" will have had a successful outcome.
