Aircraft strike on Friday 29 September: times, delays and flights guaranteed
After the agitation of8 last September, a new strike will hit the airline sector this Friday with new protests affecting the low-cost airline EasyJet and airport service companies. In detail:
- for 24 hours, from 00.01 am to 23.59 pm the following day, the staff of the air transport companies of the sector Handlers;
- for 4 hours, from 13pm to 17pm, the staff of EasyJet Airline Company Limited. The low-cost airline therefore invited passengers to check the status of their flight before going to the airport. This is on the official website, exactly in the "booking management" or "flight info" section;
- for half a shift, for each work shift, the staff of companies in the railway contracting sector of the FSI group (Ferrovie dello Stato) also go on strike;
- for 24 hours, from 00.01 to 23.59 the following day, the workers of the companies in the airport services, together with the entire aviation and airport sector, to which are added the airport handling companies.
The National Civil Aviation Authority (Enac) has communicated the list of guaranteed flights during the strike day.
Air strike on Friday: 73 flights canceled from Ita
For Friday 29 September "there may be some changes to flight operations Italy Airways. The Company was forced to cancel 73 national flights, of which 68 were scheduled for September 29, 2023. International flights remain operational", we read on the website of the Italian company which published thelist of canceled flights.
