The protest was called by the unions after thestabbing of a train conductor, which occurred on board the regional train 12042 that was going to Busalla. The victim is a 44-year-old man, seriously injured by a 21-year-old Egyptian boy. With him was a minor born in Genoa to a family of Egyptian origin. The two young people were stopped immediately after by the Carabinieri of the radiomobile unit.
What happened
According to the reconstructions provided by the police, the victim of the stabbing was asking for tickets on the train when, at the height of the Genova Rivarolo station, he approached the couple of young passengers. An argument broke out, the train conductor made them get off and at that point the adult pulled out the knife and stabbed him twice. The couple then ran away.
