On Monday 22 April there will be a new train strike, but this time it will only affect Northern Italy: Veneto, Piedmont and Lombardy. The protest will involve Trenitalia staff in some regions and Trenord staff in Lombardy. Regional, high speed and intercity at risk.

The mobilization was called by the unions Osr Filt-Cgil, Fit-Cisl, Uilt-Uil, Ugl railway workers, Slm-Fast-Confsal and Orsa railways. The regions affected by the train strike will be Veneto, Piedmont and Lombardy.

In Veneto the strike will last eight hours from 9am to 17pm on 22 April. The mobilization will involve train drivers, train conductors and head of Trenitalia high-speed services. Strike 22 April in Lombardy

The strike in Lombardy is longer and "heavier", where the agitation will last from 3am on Monday 22nd to 2am on Tuesday 23rd April: 23 hours in total. The strike will affect regional, suburban, long-distance and airport services Trenord. Minimum services are guaranteed only during the time slots between 6am and 9am and between 18pm and 21pm. Replacement shuttle services will be activated for the connection between the airports of Maplensa and Cadorna and Milan. However, everything is normal for local public transport.
