TotalErg passes entirely under the control of api

API – anonymous petroli italiana SpA, Italian company owned by the Brachetti Peretti family active in the production and distribution of fuel and petroleum products, completed the purchase of 100% of the shares of TotalErg SpA in execution of the binding agreement signed on 3 November 2017 with the companies ERG SpA and Total Marketing Services SA 

The closing of the transaction it follows the approval by the Competition and Market Guarantor Authority, which formally communicated its authorization in the latest bulletin of 8 January, recognizing that the operation "does not involve the establishment or strengthening of a dominant position in the relevant markets, such as to eliminate or substantially and lastingly reduce the competition". 

TotalErg SpA it passes entirely under the control of api, anonymous petroli italiana SpA and today acquires the denomination of italiana petroli. The new board of directors of Italiana Petroli will be chaired by Ugo Brachetti Peretti, president of api – anonymous petroli italiana SpA The Chief Executive Officer will be Daniele Bandiera, CEO of api.  

The acquisition includes over 2.600 service stations in the TotalErg network, the logistics hub of Rome and 25,16% of the Trecate (NO) refinery and will create a group with over 5000 points of sale throughout the country.
