Corporacion America Italia, controlling shareholder of Toscana Aeroporti, consolidates its stake in the management company of the Pisa and Florence airports with the acquisition of 6,58% of the shares held by Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze.
In detail, Corporacion America Italia yesterday purchased 1.225.275 shares of Toscana Aeroporti from the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze Foundation at a price of 16.50 euros per share for a countervalue of 20,2 million euros.
Following the acquisition, Corporacion America Italia holds 11.592.159 shares of Toscana Aeroporti, equal to 62,28% of the company's capital (from the previous 55,7% of the capital).
The transaction allows Corporacion America Italia to further consolidate its stake in Toscana Aeroporti and demonstrates the shareholder's confidence in the company's growth and the deep commitment towards the realization of the important infrastructure investments that will affect the airports of Pisa and Florence in the coming months .
