Where do you work best in Italy? The answer is 16th edition of Top Employers. This certification, awarded annually by Top Employers Institute, rewards companies that offer excellent working conditions, advantageous benefits, career plans, investments in training and development, HR (human resources) policies focused on professional and personal growth, and employee well-being.
This year they are 147 the Italian companies that have obtained certification Top Employers 2024 in 121 countries around the world. You are in more respect to last year, against a general increase in companies assessed (2.300).
Among them, 44 also obtained the Top Employers Europe 2024 certification, awarded to companies that achieve Top Employers certification in at least 5 European countries; furthermore, 14 were certified Top Employers Global 2024, a third level of certification reserved for companies awarded with this recognition in at least 20-25 countries on multiple continents.
Top Employers: how to obtain certification
The Top Employers 2024 certification is obtained through a analysis and evaluation process with HR policies and strategies of a company. This process is based on objective data and supporting documentation. 6 HR macro areas are examined, which include 20 topics and over 400 best practices.
After the analysis of the results, an internal validation and an external audit, companies that meet the required quality standards obtain certification.
A ranking or rating is not published, but all certified companies have the status of Top Employers Certified company. Companies that do not meet the standards are not disclosed for security reasons.
Top Employers 2024: 147 companies awarded
Among 147 awarded companies and they cover practically all areas of activity: there are Poste Italiane (fifth consecutive year), Generali group, Acea (third year), Intesa and Unicredit for the eighth consecutive year. Also certified were Hera (for the 15th consecutive year), Bper Banca (5th year), FinecoBank, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Ducati.
