TomTom, here is the anti-traffic navigator

It must have happened to you too that your navigator made you turn right, so to speak, and took you straight into a trap in the wolf's den, in the exact center of a traffic jam whose end you cannot see along the streets of your city, front row to hear a concert of honking and honking.

Well, now that couldn't happen again. Yes, because TomTom is launching two new satellite navigators equipped with a connection to TomTom Traffic, a service that receives and processes traffic information and is able to precisely identify the starting and ending point of a traffic jam.

The Dutch company has decided to go big. No longer a simple navigation system, therefore, but a broader system, capable of truly improving the driving experience. Probably, it was also the competition from smartphones that pushed TomTom on the path of evolution, increasingly used instead of navigators.

The two new models launched by the company are called TomTom Go 5000 and 6000 and differ only in screen size (5 and 6 inches respectively) and prices (299 and 359 euros). The devices are already massively present in German taxis. Soon, who knows, Italian taxi drivers could also take an example.
