The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed the session with a slight increase in a market that remains cautious in the face of tensions between Russia and the West over Ukraine. At the close, the Nikkei index of leading stocks gained 0,17% to 14.429,26 points. The broader Topix index gained 0,44% to 1.169,99 points. Activity was average with 2,05 billion shares traded on the primary market.
