Puglia wins in Japan. A Monopoly company, the Mermec, will offer its technology for the management of Shinkasen, Japan's high-speed train, providing measurement systems to monitor the passage of trains and the maintenance of the railway network.

Mermec, specialized in technology applied to the monitoring and diagnostics of railway infrastructures and signaling systems, thus broadens its already broad international horizons. Many underground and railway lines in the world make use of the systems developed by the Monopoly company: from the London underground to the Norwegian and Swiss railways, passing through the new RFI signaling system up to the Madrid underground.
