The luxury sector confirms its positive trend. The Tod's group, which owns brands such as Hogan and Fray, closed the first nine months of 2011 with a 14,8% increase in revenues to 699 million euros. In the third quarter alone, growth was 12,1%. The margin on sales was 23,5% (17% more than the same period last year). The order book is also growing.
Significant the improvement of operating profitability: Ebitda stands at 192,4 million euros in the first nine months of 2011 (+22,2% compared to the same period of 2010) while Ebit is equal to 164,4 million euros (+23,5 % compared to the nine months of last year).
The Tod's group also confirmed the estimates for the end of 2011 with double-digit revenue growth, supported by the significant growth rates recorded for all brands, in all sales channels and in all geographical areas. “I am confident – said Della Valle – that our group can confirm double-digit growth in revenues for the entire year and an improvement in operating profitability”.
