Positive accounts and happy shareholders at home Tod’s. The group led by Diego Della Valle closed the accounts for 2011 net profits up 23,8%, at 135 million. The Board has decided to distribute a dividend of 2,5 euros per share, up 25% over the previous year.

As for revenues, they recorded an increase of 13,5% on an annual basis (893,6 million), while Ebitda rose by 20,4% (232,4 million).

In the wake of these numbers, in the early afternoon Tod's shares accelerated upwards, gaining around six points, leading the Ftse Mib basket. Della Valle said he was confident of achieving "significant growth in revenues and profits" again this year.
