It is above all the prospects for 2014 that weigh on Tod's quotations on the Stock Exchange. Mid-morning the title of the group yields almost 5% to 94,40 € after having also scored a minimum of 94,15 euros at the opening of the session. The slide in the stock, which in any case has already lost more than 20% since the beginning of the year, brings Tod's prices back to December 2012 levels.
The footwear group had just announced that it had closed 2013 with a consolidated turnover of 967,5 million (+0,5%) and an EBITDA of 236,3 million and announced the distribution of a dividend in line with last year's at 2,70 euros per share.
However, according to operators, the indications on the start of 2014 provided by management during the meeting with the financial community would signal a phase of weakness which is leading investment houses to adopt a more cautious attitude regarding the targets for the current year.
