Tlc, Dina Ravera new president of Asstel

Engineer, comes from Mc Kinsey and is the first woman to take up the job. Calcagno, Patuano, Guindani and Ibarra enter the presidential committee. On the board of directors Cicchetti, Parisi, Tripi and Zappi as well as Cesare Avenia

For the first time, a woman will lead the representation of the telecommunications chain in Italy. The Assembly of Assotelecomunicazioni-Asstel, an association which in the Confindustria system represents fixed and mobile telephone operators, suppliers of network equipment and services, telecommunications software companies, network infrastructures and Contact companies Center has in fact appointed Dina Ravera as President, who assumes the position for the two-year period 2015-2017. Dina Ravera succeeds Cesare Avenia who leaves after four years of presidency and two mandates.

Ravera, an electronic engineer with ten years of experience within McKinsey, has been Chief Operating Officer of 2004 Italia spa since 3 and is currently also the managing director of 3lettronica Industriale, the national digital television network of 3 Italia and a member of the Board of Directors of 3 Italia and A2A.

At his side, in the two-year period 2015-2017, will work the new team of the Presidential Committee made up of Andrea Antonelli (Almaviva Contact), Alberto Calcagno (Fastweb), Massimo Canturi (Comdata), Gianluca Cimini (BT Italia), Pietro Guindani (Vodafone Italy), Maximo Ibarra (Wind Telecomunicazioni), Nunzio Mirtillo (Ericsson Telecomunicazioni), Marco Patuano (Telecom Italia), Luca Scano (Tiscali).

The assembly also partially renewed the composition of the Board of Directors (2014-2016), electing 4 new directors, Oscar Cicchetti (Inwit), Stefano Parisi (Chili), Marco Tripi (Almaviva Contact), Mimmo Zappi (Colt Italia), to which is added the past President Cesare Avenia as a member by right.
