Continue the auction for fourth generation telephone frequencies (4G). Yesterday, on the second day of offers, bids for 144 million euros arrived. The total that could enter state coffers at the moment amounts to 2,506 billion euros.
"During nine different rounds - reads a note from the Ministry of Economic Development - 31 raises were made both to acquire blocks of frequencies in the 800 band and in the 2600 band, bringing a total increase of 203.468.708,93 euros compared to the initial offers, or about 144 million euros more than yesterday. The total amount collected currently rises to 2.506.575.874 euros, thus exceeding the amount established by the stability law. Even today all the participating companies took part in the relaunch ".
The four telephone companies Telecom Italia, H3G, Vodafone and Wind participate in the tender. At stake are 24 blocks of frequencies on the 800, 1800, 2000 and 2600 bands. In particular, on the 800 band, Telecom is ahead on two blocks with offers of 395 and 394 million; while Wind, H3G and Vodafone got their hands on a single block, with offers ranging between 393 and 394 million.
