Tinexta goes shopping in France: boom on the stock market

Tinexta's new breakthrough on the road to internationalisation. The leading company in cybersecurity, digital trust, IT consultancy and certification services led by Andrea Chevallard and chaired by Enrico Salza has acquired 43,8% of CertEurope, the first Transalpine Certification Authority, for 60 million euros. The agreement provides that within 18 months Tinexta, which capitalizes 1,5 billion euros and which today gains 5,57% of the Stock Exchange, will acquire 100% of the capital of the French company.

With the acquisition of CertEurope, Tinexta takes its third step abroad and consolidates the strategy aimed at growing even more on foreign markets. Already in 2018 the company had acquired 51% of a Spanish company, Camerfirma, while two years ago it had acquired 16,7% of the German company Authada, a cutting-edge digital identity provider, in which it intends to take over the majority within the next year. After all, the goal of growing in Italy and abroad in cybersecurity and digital identity services (certified email, digital signature, electronic invoicing) is nothing new for Tinexta, which aims to become one of the top European players.

“The new agreement – commented Chevallard – guarantees us industrial synergies and an important commercial platform” and it is no coincidence that the Stock Exchange is rewarding the operation.
