"TimVision proved to live up to expectations. We are the richest platform in Italy thanks to the agreements with Disney, Amazon, Netflix, Discovery and many others but also thanks to the productions that TimVision does alone” – So began Tim's CEO, Luigi Gubitosi, during the presentation of the TimVision schedule.

“We don't have the ambition to be a big producer, to compete – continued Gubitosi – but to cover those niches that interest large sections of the public and are not covered by others, in particular by international producers who don't have such an interest for our country".

  1. All very nice, but I have a criticism relating to a TimVision Plus service, via APP or Smart TV: the live broadcasts of the 4 Sky channels: Sky Uno, Sky TG24, Sky Sport 24 and Sky Arte are literally live only, you cannot pause or go back, let alone watch on-demand content. Impossible to watch X-Factor or Masterchef the day after the broadcast, which is obviously very possible with a very normal Sky or Now TV decoder. Considering that technically with little effort it would be possible to enable live pause or programs on demand, it seems that live broadcasting of Sky channels is only to be able to say that it is there, but it is not a service at the level of what one can expect.
