Extension to the end of November of the Memorandum between Tim, Cdp, Open Fiber and shareholders on the project for a single but non-exclusive telecommunications network, as requested by Vivendi - Cdp will also have time to evaluate the guidelines of the new Government

The times slip for the Single network of telecommunications. Tim, at the end of the board of directors chaired by Salvatore Rossi, announced that it has signed an agreement to amend the non-binding Memorandum of Understanding relating to the Tim and Open Fiber.

The new agreement has been signed. other than from Tim, from Cdp Equity, Kkr, Macquarie and Open Fiber. The extension of the Memorandum, which was signed on 29 May last, reaches 30 November 2022, with the exception of the exclusivity obligations which cease to exist from 31 October next.

Basically, Tim, prompted by the majority shareholder Vivendi, agrees to set aside the exclusivity of the Memorandum with CDP and shareholders and, in turn, Cassa depositi e prestiti will have more time to also consider the guidelines of the new Government on the subject of a single network, to which Prime Minister Giorgia also referred Melons in the parliamentary debate on trust.
