Peter Labriola is Tim's new CEO. No surprises from the board, which unanimously voted for the appointment of the current CEO of Tim Partecipacoes. Since last November 26, the day on which the former CEO Luigi Gubitosi resigned his powers, Labriola has also been the company's general manager. 

Pugliese, 54 years old, the manager arrived in Telecom in 2001, after having worked for giants of the caliber of France Tèlècom and Cable & Wireless. Two and a half years ago, Labriola successfully took over the reins from Tim Brasil.

For several weeks the neo Ad has been working on the new business plan of the group, unofficially presented to the directors on 18 January.

According to rumors, Labriola's proposal plans to split Tim into two parts: on the one hand the network society – prelude to merger with Open Fiber – on the other, the commercial services which could include fixed mobile, Tim Partecipacoes, Noovle, Olivetti and Inwit. The guidelines of the new plan will be discussed during a meeting already set for January 26, while the final board examination is scheduled for March 2.

Stay in the background Kkr's offer, but the new developments now seem to have pushed the takeover bid away.

Meanwhile, in Piazza Affari, after experiencing difficult sessions since the beginning of the year, the title Tim it loses 1,5%, in a day to forget for the entire list. A few minutes after the closing, the Ftse Mib lost more than 2% of its value, barely remaining above 27 thousand points.
