TIM and Unitelma Sapienza: the school of social media managers is underway

The new one is on the way digital communication school to form i social media manager sponsored by TIM together withUniversity of Rome UnitelmaSapienza. The company led by Luigi Gubitosi and the Roman university have signed a memorandum of understanding for the creation of the "Communication and Digital Media Academy", the new inter-company hub that will offer courses and masters for those who work or intend to work in the social/web world aimed at exploring issues related to the development of communication and digital education in an increasingly technological world.

The agreement was signed by the Magnificent Rector Antonello Folco Biagini and by Luciano Sale, Head of Human Resources, Organization & Real Estate of TIM. The signing of the agreement was attended by Mario Morcellini, Director of the High School of Communication and Digital Media of UnitelmaSapienza and Carlo Nardello, Chief Strategy, Business Development and Transformation Officer of TIM, who underlined the importance of digital transformation, of the responsibility of Media education and digital culture in schools. 

"I thank TIM for the opportunity it gives our university to develop new projects in synergy in the field of communication, a crucial sector in our contemporary society - said the Rector Antonello Folco Biagini – future collaborations will be possible through the Higher Education Schools”.  

“Thanks to TIM Academy we are intensifying the development of projects involving TIM and universities – he declared Luciano Sale, Head of Human Resources, Organization & Real Estate of TIM -. We believe it is strategic to bring the academic world closer to the corporate world, in particular on digitization issues in which we are investing heavily, also through the Operation Risorgimento Digitale project, which involves and unites over forty partners in the pursuit of the same goal. We are convinced that the diffusion of these skills will serve to accelerate the digitization process of the country".
