Tim celebrates 206 years of the Carabinieri Corps

Tim celebrates the history of the Carabinieri with a TV spot. On the occasion of the 206th anniversary of the foundation of the Carabinieri, Tim has created an institutional commercial together with the Arma to celebrate this important anniversary, which comes at a particularly delicate moment for the country. A tribute to thank the Arma, its technicians and all those who worked daily in support of the community during the Coronavirus health emergency.

The video, that will air tomorrow June 5th on the main national broadcasters, it was presented by CEO Luigi Gubitosi in Rome to the General Command of the Carabinieri, in the presence of General Giovanni Nostri and the top management of the General Staff.

The commercial, on the notes of Johann Pachelbel's "Canon and giga in D major", was directed and created by Luca Josi, Head of Tim's Brand Strategy, Media & Multimedia Entertainment Division, in collaboration with the Carabinieri. The interpreters were selected through internal castings, both in Arma and in Tim.

The video tells the typical day of a Tim technician and a Carabinieri marshal who worked during the lockdown, alongside the Italians. The video alternates moments of daily life, technology and operations, underlining the important role played by the Arma and by Tim to guarantee, respectively, the country's security and connectivity. In the end, the images converge to form the two logos.

The celebrations of the anniversary of the Carabinieri, this year are of particular importance, since it is the 100th anniversary of the awarding of the first gold medal to the War Flags which, over time, has been awarded numerous other decorations, testifying to the commitment provided by the carabinieri in support of Italian citizens and to which Tim wanted to contribute by interpreting the sentiments of the nation.
