Tim Brasil: net profit growing in 2013, +3,9% to 1,5 billion reais

Tim Brasil, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia, closes 2013 with an increase in net income, equal to 1,5 billion – The dividend is also up, +13,5% compared to 2012 – Tim subscribers are on the increase.

Tim Brasil, a subsidiary of Telecom Italia, closed 2013 with gross revenues up by 46,9% to 29,66 billion reais, total net revenues of 19,9 billion (+6,2%) and revenues from mobile services up 3,5%.

Ebitda stood at 5,2 billion reais (+3,9%), with an ebitda margin of 26,1% and net profit reached 1,506 billion (equal to 458 million euro), up by 3,9%, with an eps of 0,62 reais (0,60 in 2012). A dividend of 843 million reais is expected, up 13,5% on 2012 to 0,3488 per ordinary share and 1,7444 per adr.

Considering only the fourth quarter, the net result amounted to 499 million (+7,9%), gross revenues at 7,685 billion (+4,7%), net revenues at 5,183 billion (+3,1%) and l 'ebitda at 1,499 billion (+5,2%).

Gross debt is equal to 4.867 million (+13,7%), net debt is 420,8 million in cash compared to 151,1 million the previous year. Capex stood at 3,9 billion (3%). The postpaid customer base scored +14,6% on an annual basis, voice +20,7%.

Tim's live customer base reached 60 thousand users, up 17,7 thousand in the fourth quarter alone. Tim's subscriber base closed the last quarter of the year with 73,4 million lines, up by +4,3% compared to the last quarter of 2012, compared to the 3,5% growth of the Brazilian market . The market share stood at 27,1% (against 26,9% a year earlier).
