Is called "Tim Cybersecurity Made in Italy Challenge” the selection launched by the company led by Pietro Labriola which aims to identify the best IT security solutions conceived and created by Italian and international companies, SMEs, startups and scaleups. The goal is to integrate these "innovative solutions" into the offer of cyber services telsy, the group company focused on the cybersecurity sector, which operates within Tim Enterprise. 

What is Tim Cybersecurity Made in Italy Challenge

As the name implies, it is a "challenge" which is one of the activities foreseen in the programme Open Innovation TIM Growth Platform, the group's innovation program which focuses on industrial collaboration with high-potential companies with the aim of accelerating their growth.

“The initiative intends to favor the development of the cyber sector in order to increase the level of security of Italian institutions, large companies and SMEs”, explains Tim in a note.

Within the "challenge", they will be identified the best innovative cybersecurity solutions based on emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, etc.). The winners will be offered a technological and commercial partnership with Tim Enterprise and Telsy, but also the possibility to enjoy privileged access to the cybersecurity market and to grow further. 

“The initiative – he adds Eugene Santagata, chief Public Affairs & Security Officer of Ti, and CEO of Telsy – has the dual objective of sdevelop new solutions aimed at countering the growing phenomenon linked to IT risks e enrich our portfolio of services and products that make use of innovative and proprietary technologies for a made in Italy safety. The cyber security market in Italy is growing significantly with a value that today exceeds 2 billion euros. We are convinced that this sector represents one of the major digital investment priorities for our country and we are confident that also thanks to this type of initiative it will be possible to raise awareness of the attention of public administrations and businesses towards the digital transition". 

To participate in the selection you can send your own candidacy starting today through June 7 through the TIM's Open Innovation platform.
