The former French premier, and this year's presidential candidate, will join the asset management firm listed on the Paris Stock Exchange.

Tikehau Capital announces that, effective 1 September 2017, former French Prime Minister François Fillon will join the company as Partners who, with this entry, will rise to a total of 30.

“François Fillon's international experience and his in-depth knowledge of French and European economic issues will bring real added value to Tikehau Capital in its priority process of international development and consolidation. He will also be of great help in guiding the growth of the company's investment and management activities,” reads the press release.

Tikehau Capital is an asset manager and investment group managing over €10,3 billion in assets. The Group invests in various asset classes (private debt, real estate, private equity and liquid strategies), including through its asset management subsidiary Tikehau IM, on behalf of institutional and private investors. Majority-owned by its managers together with leading institutional partners, Tikehau Capital has over 170 employees divided between the offices in Paris, London, Milan, Madrid, Brussels, Singapore and Seoul. Tikehau Capital is listed on Euronext Paris.
