Ti Media reduces losses by 6 million compared to the first half of 2010

Ebitda for the period confirmed its positive sign, thanks also to a significant growth in advertising sales and an increase in its audience share. Net financial debt, on the other hand, remained almost unchanged compared to the first quarter of 2011, while it increased by 29,1 million compared to 31 December 2010.

Telecom Italia Media closed the first half of 2011 with a negative net result of 16,3 million, but still reduced the loss by 6 million compared to the same period of 2010 (22,3 million). This was announced by the board of directors, which today examined and approved the financial report of the group as at 30 June 2011.

Ebitda for the period confirmed its positive sign, thanks also to a significant growth in advertising sales and an increase in its audience share. Ebitda is, in fact, positive for 9 million euros and improves by 0,5 million euros (8,5 million in the first half of 2010), while Ebit, after amortization and depreciation for the period, is equal to -20,2 .0,9 million euros and improved by 21,1 million euros (-2010 million euros in the first half of 144,6). Net financial indebtedness reaches 146,1 million euros, thus remaining almost unchanged compared to the first quarter (29,1 million euros) and increased by 31 million euros compared to 2010 December 115,5 (XNUMX million euros EUR).
