The Enzo Ferrari museum: the man and the car on MANIFESTO12

A story that made the history of the automobile. A museum, that of Enzo Ferrari, between past and future. This is how we lived a day in search of emotions: all in the MANIFESTO12 online magazine.

The Enzo Ferrari museum: the man and the car on MANIFESTO12

This is how we experienced the visit to that old workshop that was sold in the 20s to give Enzo his first racing car, a walk inside his creative genius. A man, Enzo, who if linked to his surname and to his creation, Ferrari, seems to us to enclose him within an almost reductive stereotype. Reductive in the sense that man was an artist even before being a builder of racing cars that became the fastest in the world.

Walking through his life, among films, engines, old photos and cars, it was as if he himself had been next to us to explain every detail of his wonders in great detail. Works of art created in his imagination a thousand times before putting his hand to the pencil to design them. Enzo already had its splendor in his mind, in the song of the engines and in the nuances of apparently insignificant details; he left only the unknown factor of victory to chance.

He wanted to experience the thrill of the race by scrutinizing the races from his studio in the most complete privacy, almost as if he wanted to lose; like her, not wanting to take away the pleasure of meticulously intervening on the engines to figure out what had gone wrong. Here in a flash the ninety years of her life have passed. Yes, the report of the visit made to Modena at the Enzo Ferrari Museum, we want to jealously place it in the drawer of dear things with our very personal tag: "The Enzo Museum".
