The cut of the parliamentarians and Schubert's Unfinished

The supporters of the YES in the referendum argue that this reform would only be the first step in a more comprehensive change to the Constitution: if this were the case, the operation would certainly be destined to remain incomplete, like the most tragic of Schubert's symphonies

The cut of the parliamentarians and Schubert's Unfinished

Many supporters of the YES to the next constitutional referendum for the linear cut in the number of parliamentarians, including prestigious constitutionalists previously strong supporters of the NO to the modification of the most beautiful constitution in the world, argue that this YES would represent the first important step for the more comprehensive reform of the our Constitution. It would therefore be an unfinished reform awaiting a more markedly reforming future or future action. Translated into musical terms, with the YES in the referendum, a new score of a new symphony would be written equal to symphony n. 8 in B minor D 759, commonly known as Unfinished: one of Franz Schubert's best-known symphonies, but also one of the most tragic.

It seems almost certain that the first YES to the more comprehensive reform of our Constitution remains a tragically unfinished work, given the permanent internal conflicts of the current majority, cemented only by fear of the polls.

Not to mention the unproven and unprovable statement of the associates of the grillini, therefore the smaller the number of parliamentarians, the greater the efficiency of their work. Not only do the Grillini associates not specify which indicator they have taken to measure the efficiency of parliamentary work, but above all they demonstrate a purely ideological cultural and political approach of a purely efficiency-oriented nature, which compares Parliament to a company, so it may not the small number of parliamentarians expected from the tragic symphony of YES, which could lead to the single man in command longed for by many, would be enough.
